Yesterday May 27 there were a few ducks of note on the Samish I. West-90
ponds, especially on the southernmost pond:

2 REDHEAD (drakes)
3 Blue-winged Teal
1 EURASIAN WIGEON (very late)
1 Bufflehead

Alongside were 30 or so Am. Wigeon, 12 or so Pintails, a few GW Teal
(including a female with a prominent eyeline, caused me to do doubletakes
several times), and 25 N. Shoveler, with a scattering of Gadwall and
Mallard.
