After reading Jason's post on Wednesday, Jim Pruske and I relocated the
male Lazuli Bunting Wednesday evening along the gravel road to the twins
barn. It was sitting in the willow trees, and then flew towards the twin
barns perching in the dense foilage. The bird was very aware of our
presence and would fly off as we continued to walk the road. The
frustrating part was, he could see us, but we couldn't find him, even
after we saw where he landed. When we neared the barns, the bird flew
back to where we originally saw it first. Other birds seen that evening
were:

Western Wood Pewee - 1
Willow Flycatcher - 1
Wood Duck - 1 female with a brood of 6
American Bittern - 1 calling
Ring Necked Pheasant - 1 male

On Thursday evening, Jim and I tried to relocate the Lazuli Bunting, but
we were unsuccessful. We did walk the boardwalk and checked the front
willow ponds. We had the same birds as yesterday plus a few others.

Great Horned Owl - 1 being harassed by crows near the Nisqually River.
Band Tailed Pigeon - 1
Turkey Vulture - 1 flew over the front willow ponds.
Least Sandpiper - 1 in the front left willow pond.
