Hi, Tweets

The very active and very handsome male gnatcatcher put on quite a show
yesterday; no female or other gnatcatchers observed. Vicki Biltz and myself
had the area to ourselves about mid-day yesterday. I was a bit upset to see
where people had trampled all over the area. The bird was very observable
by staying well away from the bushes. He also seemed bothered by our
presence so I am wondering if it is being harrassed by so many visitors.
Anyway, it was a great day, weatherwise, and there were even two turkey
vultures soaring around the area!
