Ian and Tweeters:
A few Christmas seasons ago my mother-in-law gave me a copy of "
Red-Tails in Love" by Marie Winn. Published by Vintage Books/ Division
of Random House. The title alone was enough to make me toss it on the
shelf and forget about it. ;-) But.....I eventually gave it a chance and
it was a great read. It is a fascinating view into the lives of New York
city Central Park birds and the birders who bird Central Park. I could
not put it down. It is much more than the story of the nesting Central
Park Red-Tail Hawks.
I highly recommend it.
