I birded the Steigerwald Lake N.W.R., near Washougal in Clark
County, on May 31st. Fifty-five species were found with the only
unexpected birds being a male BUFFLEHEAD, and a single CHIPPING SPARROW
in with some House Finches. WILLOW FLYCATCHERS were calling from nearly
every brush patch.
