Hi, Dale and all

No "bum rap" in any way! The Douglas squirrels will put peanuts in every
pot on the deck even when we are sitting out there watching them. They may
have a main cache, but, believe me, they store peanuts in the shell
everywhere!! The greys are more leery of humans; the Douglas squirrels
don't give a hoot and will climb up a leg if one is reading and no nuts are
available at the time.
