Hi Tweets,

I think I may have seen a white Gyrfalcon yesterday too, as Ann posted. It was about 8:30am on Sunday, Nov. 3rd flying parallel to Hwy 203 between Fay Rd. and 124th Street (between Carnation & Duvall) on the west side of the road. I was driving and didn't get to look at it through the binoculars, but it was definitely mostly white underneath, smaller than our usual Red-taileds, with a narrow tail. I also considered that maybe it was a male Northern Harrier. Hopefully, I can find it again when I have the opportunity to pull off the road and take a solid look. It was beautiful, but safe driving struggled to maintain first priority.

Later in the day, around 2:30pm, I think I spotted an Osprey flying high above Redmond. I parked at the shopping center (Bear Creek?) that has Safeway, JoAnn Fabrics, Las Margaritas, etc. and watched it soar until it flew south. I must start carrying my binoculars in my car!

Happy Birding!
