The BLUE JAY reported south of Othello, Grant Co WA since 14 Oct was still
seen as of 3 Nov. The jay is using the south end of the Sundance Road loop
off Atkinson Road about 4 miles south of Othello. Take WA 24 and turn east
on Atkinson, then about 0.75 mile to the Sundance loop south. Be patient, it
comes and goes. WA DeLorme 53, B-7.

In Idaho, BLUE JAYS were reported from 2 locations-Lisa Provolt reports a
single bird northeast of Sandpoint on 11 Oct. Shirley Sturts reports 4 jays
in Coeur d'Alene.

A flock of 20 BUSHTITS were at the north end of Potholes Reservoir, Grant Co
WA on 20 Oct according to Gary Shugart. WA DeLorme 69, D-5.

Four SURF SCOTERS were on Natural Corral Lake, about 3 miles southeast of
Royal City, Grant Co WA on 21 Oct according to Bob Flores. WA DeLorme 52,
B-4.

On Mt Spokane, Spokane Co WA on 26 Oct, Gina Sheridan reports a flock of 20+
SNOW BUNTINGS and 3 GRAY-CROWNED ROSY-FINCHES at the Vista House parking
lot. Also at this location were 3 BLUE GROUSE. WA DeLorme 89, A-7.

A LONG-TAILED DUCK was on Mann Lake, Nez Perce Co ID on 28 Oct according to
Mary Melton. Mann Lake is about 3 miles east of Lewiston Orchards along
Powers Avenue.

Near Vantage, Kittitas Co WA on 3 Nov, Patrick and Ruth Sullivan report
several good birds. They saw 2 female SURF SCOTERS and 2 LONG-TAILED DUCKS
between Vantage and the Wanapum Dam along Huntzinger Road. WA DeLorme 52,
A-1.
