Subject: Fulmar still on Lake Union

Today as I was running a boat back through the Lake Washington ship canal I
saw the northern fulmar again on Lake Union. At 4:15 it was in the middle of
the lake, its gray profile standing out easily among a few ring billed
gulls. It was pecking at some small items on the surface and seemed more
energetic than yesterday; it eventually flushed as my boat drifted to within
about 25 feet, flying briefly to the NE. I suspect it could be spotted with
a scope from Gasworks, if it sticks around.
