Hi, Tweets

At least I think "Hi" - my mail has been problematic for several days and I
keep getting unsubscribed from tweeters, among other things. I'm trying a
roundabout way so hope it works.

Following are turkey vulture reports from October 2002 from Washington,
British Columbia, and Oregon:

02 -- 1 at the Chelan Ridge trapping/hawkwatch station
03 -- 10 circling over Hwy 3 north of Bremerton
04 -- 4 heading south over Burnaby, B.C.
05 -- 1 over Ridgefield NWR; 1 over Kalama
06 -- 5 soaring south over Kennedy Creek, Mason County; 5 soaring over 522
at MP 19
07 -- 1 gliding south over Coos Bay, Oregon
08 -- 13 kettling over the Lilliwaup area, south Hood Canal - they then
headed south
09 -- 3 at Black Lake Meadows being harassed by ravens at their overnight roost
10 -- 1 drifting west over Olympia
11 -- 5 flying south over Normandy Park
12 -- 2 at intersection of Montlake Blvd/Interlaken Pl - one swooping as
low as 15 feet
16 -- 3 at Joyce

I hope I haven't missed any reports with this mail problem.

A very few turkey vultures overwinter in our area - please let me know if
you see any. Thanks again for all of your reports over the years.

Cheers, Diann
