On October 31, Ruth Fischer had a treat of 3 TUNDRA SWANS in the Yakima
River opposite the Chamna Preserve in Richland.

Lucie Fritz reported a HARRIS' SPARROW at her Richland feeder on November
2. There was an adult, basic HARRIS' SPARROW at the boat launch west of
Bateman Island on November 4, and one at Dale Litzenberger's feeder in
Burbank on November 5.

Also at the boat launch on November 4, Nancy LaFramboise found an immature
LONG-TAILED DUCK. It has remained through at least November 8. This bird
seems to spend its time between the boat launch and the Bateman Island
Causeway. Access to the area is west of Wye Park off Columbia Drive or
walking from the Wye Park. (Wye Park/Bateman Island is west on Columbia
Drive at south end of Columbia Center Blvd)

Chris Simonen reported 7 GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE at the McNary National
Wildlife Refuge on November 7. They were among a large flock of Canada Geese.

To report your own sightings, please give your name, phone number and
sightings after the tone. Thank you.
