Hi Tweeters,

My experience in banding Orange-crowned Warblers, and examining many
study skins of all three races, is that separating lutescens from the
other two races is easy. However, separating celata from orestera in the
field is very difficult, if not impossible, under most circumstances. I
have found that it is very difficult in the hand, even with a large
series of skins to compare things.
