Subject: Sandhill Crane at GRNRA (Kent Sewage Ponds)

During bird-bander training sessions at the Green River NRA (the old
Kent Sewage Ponds; off I-5, East on Orillia Rd (exit 152), down hill
and South along the Green River) on Saturday and Monday the following
birds of special interest were seen:

1 Sandhill Crane circling the ponds on Sat 9 Nov.
2 Eurasian Wigeon males on Mon 11 Nov
1 Peregrine on Mon 11 Nov.

also noteworthy was a high density of Lincoln's Sparrows.
