Hi Tweeters,

Ken Orcutt and I got separate looks at a Sandhill Crane at Nisqually
National Wildlife Refuge in Thurston County today. Ken saw the bird at
lunch near the first duck pond on the south side of the trail to
McAllister Creek. I was able to relocate it a couple hours later when it
flew past the main parking lot and landed in one of the fields west of the
twin barns. I had also great looks at a Peregrine perched in the tree
tops near the HQ.
