A couple of friends brought a beginning birder's class out to Two Rivers
County Park this afternoon between 2:30 & 4 and invited me to join them. We
ended up spending the entire time in the developed area north of the
playground between the Corps dike and the Columbia River/Lake Wallula.

Highlights:
one Eurasian Wigeon - the first I've seen here this season.
eight Common Goldeneye - ditto above.
one Osprey - this seems way late for the lower Columbia Basin.
one Peregrine Falcon - flew within less than 100 feet of us while trying
snag a Mourning Dove.
one Brown Creeper - the first I've seen here this season.
several Ruby-crowned Kinglets.
several Golden-crowned Kinglets.
two Orange-crowned Warblers.
