All the rain we have had during the past week has raised the water level in
Kelsey Creek so the river otter can get up to Larsen Lake in Bellevue. I saw
two river otter this morning about 8:15 am. This is the first sighting this
fall. One or two usually show up in Nov. and can be seen off and on through
Feb. They are really fun to watch. They were particularly curious about a
dog that was watching them from the shore and came within about 30-40 feet.
