My wife Adele and I took an excursion into the big city
Saturday (by bus of course), and had the opportunity to see
one of the city Peregrines. What we first saw however, was
a mass of Starlings swarming like shorebirds in a cloud
above Westlake Center. Then we saw the falcon come in. It
dove through the flock three times, before flying off with
one of it's targets clutched in its grip. What a sight,
right over Westlake Center, where there were probably 100
people wandering around, with 30 or so actually watching the
spectacle.
