I strongly recommend taking in the dawn dispersal of the Foster Island
roost. Standing on the dock directly east of the University of Washington
Boat House at 6:30 am (these days), will afford a spectacular view of clouds
of crows (8,000 - 10,000) streaming overhead towards the University District
and downtown Seattle. It is quite a sight, and quite a ruckus.
