Hello Gary,
Respond manly to the people from Idaho driving on to the outr beaches.What an experience we had this year ,when we visit the outer beaches where we found the most Shorebirds.All the people scared the flocks of so there could not feed or resting up for there long journy in migration.There are signs posting not to drive behond this sign,what completly got ignored.We saw many cars stuck in the sand on the outer beaches,and i know one car got lost as the tide was comming in.I believe in Oregon you can not drive on the outer beaches and this gos for Ledbetter Point also.We had two people driving in on Damon Point on our last visit with there motorbike.There give no attention when i told them that it is illigal and went on.
To me it is aways rewarding to bird the coast ,there is so much variety on birds and for some reason it is so relaxing.
