Hello Kathy,
First thank you for the comliment about our birding exprience and all the
messages we sent.We have a lot of birders in Wasington,and i wish that more
birders post and give there experiece away.We also on OBOL that is Oregon
birding.We recieve twice or maybe three times of mail where birders post
them.I never forgot years ago when we lost all our sightings do to a crash i
believe .When i posted this to tweeters to sent us the trip from Okanagon
where every sommer starting in june for two weeks we birding.I was
astonished how many birders kept our write up in to there files.I would
point out one think that it is my son Patrick what keeps records on our
trips and also sent the messages.I usual taking photos of the importend
birds for the record comittee.It is very importend if possible exspecial
when birding alone to get a photo.It takes some doing .So Patrick is the
birder and i taking photos,but sometime i also spot a good bird David Hayden
can vouch for this.I also dont make a list,when i see a bird for the first
time i make a note in my fieldguide ,so this is my list.I realy enjoying to
be out there so free of worrys and to explore.Many times and there are many
occasion like this,i go back and see birds twice or even three times to
watch there behavier.My live became better when i start birding.And thanks
again.

I am not a gungho lister but I really can hardly count a bird I have been
told that I have seen that is way out there and I myself cannot make out
field marks for whatever reason (usually inexperience). The bird songs
might count for the difficult to see birds like Sora, Virg. Rail., some of
the warblers, etc.
