Hi All,

I know that there has been discussions in the past about mini-disc/MP3
recorders. I am finally prepared to make my purchase and wanted to a final
RFI before I make my decision.

How and what types of recorders/players are people happy with? I am leaning
towards a mini-disc but wanted to check on both MP3 and DAT.

I want to be able to call birds in as well as be able to do some recording
in the field to help me sharpen my birding by ear skills. Portability is
key due to the fact that I am already lugging scope, binos, and a camera.

Thanks for any info on experience, models, etc.
