Tweets,

In case anybody's interested, I spent some time surveying the winter
waterfowl concentrations in Kenmore and adjacent Lake Forest Park. I
estimate 4000 someodd individuals, often closely packed along the northern
shoreline. Nice viewing from the Kenmore pier and the park along the Burke
Gilman just to the west. There's also a new minipark at the mouth of Lyon
Creek in Lake Forest Park adjacent to the community club (park across the
street by the new city hall) with views to the west. Observations in
brackets [] are other local records.
