We live one block south of Northgate, urban setting but
I like to think our yard is a disaster (bird friendly).

I have a sunflower seed feeder, thistle feeder and suet feeder that
are regularly maintained.
So far this autumn, lots of BC chickadees, a few chestnut backed
chickadees,
a jumble of juncos, two song sparrows, one bewicks wren, and
finally today a few American goldfinches at the thistle feeder.
No pinesiskins, and no bushtits!!
We always have bushtits. But not one.

And for the first time in years since some construction around us,
a spotted towhee.
Having the shrubs grow back and having a fuzzy yard does pay off.
