On November 10, Dale Litzenberger reported a LONG-TAILED DUCK, a flock of
blackbirds which included YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRDS, and 4 AMERICAN PIPITS
at the ponds below Iowa Beef in Wallula.

The first report of a BALD EAGLE was an adult seen by Bob Woodley at the
Yakima Delta on November 13.

Also on November 13, Nancy LaFramboise saw an adult WHITE-WINGED SCOTER in
the Columbia River off Columbia Park in Kennewick. Bill and Nancy saw it
again on November 24 at the island just downstream from Bateman Island.

Dennis Rockwell reported the return of the COMMON GRACKLE that has been
frequenting the area near Two Rivers Park in Kennewick. It was seen
briefly along south Haney Road on November 13.

Two Rivers Park hosted a grand assortment of birds on November 16, for
Dennis Rockwell, Connie Estep, and Kerry Turley. Some of the birds seen
were BROWN CREEPER, a male EURASIAN WIGEON, 2 ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLERS, a
PEREGRINE FALCON, and a late OSPREY.

On November 18, Annet and Jim Dittmer observed 35 TUNDRA SWAN north of
Othello. It always pays to know what's going on to the north as those
birds or their kin could appear here. Yesterday along the Columbia River,
Bill & Nancy LaFramboise saw a flock of 20 TUNDRA SWAN fly downstream along
Columbia Park.

On November 19, Bill Kaiser had a male LESSER GOLDFINCH among 30 American
Goldfinches at his feeder in West Richland.

To report your own sightings, please give your name, phone number and
sightings after the tone. Thank you.
