Hello Tweeters,
I Wrote about this " LITTLE NOBLE FIR TREE" in 1999.And it was time to get a
new tree, since the other got to big and i planted it few weeks ago in to our
yard.I bough this little tree back, and it was only up for not over 5 minutes
,and one of the Bewick's wren already went on the tree followed by a
Chestnut-backed Chickadee. The other day we had our first Townsend,s Warbler
on the patio, and i was presuming when he looked at the old place where we
had the Noble tree.So it was time to get this tree up for the holyday. We put
crushed Nuts around this seems to realy attract all birds. Two years ago i
decorated this tree with lights and red ribbon. It realy attracted ou Anna,s
there went wild and over and over there circled the tree, beeing attracted to
the red ribbon. We should get the Townsent,s back there comming here every
winter almost past february. One time there was a bad storm, and i remember
that one of the male Townsent,s warbler was sitting in the Laurel bush for
over two hours sitting still to waite the storm out.It is so much fun
watching birds in you own yard, you have a better chance also watching there
behavier.
