A juv YELLOW-BILLED LOON was at the spillway of Wanapum Dam near Vantage,
Kittitas Co WA on 24 Nov according to Scott Downes.. Scott also report 5
LONG-TAILED DUCKS at the Wanapum State Park boat launch, and an adult
GLAUCOUS-WINGED GULL at the Ginkgo SP overlook. Gina Sheridan reports seeing
the loon again 25 Nov. WA DeLorme 52, A-1.

A few good birds were seen in the Lewiston ID / Clarkston WA area this past
week. Keith Carlson reports 2 RED-NECKED GREBES on the Clearwater River near
the railroad bridge on the Idaho side; one was an adult and the other an
immature. Keith also reports a RED-BREASTED MERGANSER on the Snake River
downstream of the US 12 bridge between Lewiston and Clarkston. Regine
Snitzer and Al Winter spotted a single LONG-TAILED DUCK near Swallows Park
on the Clarkston side of the Snake River. The park is on the south end of
Clarkston along WA 129. Regine and Al also report 5 DUNLIN at Mann Lake
about 3 miles east of the Lewiston Orchards. ID DeLorme 54, A-1 and WA
DeLorme 43, A-8.

A BARRED OWL was residing a few miles south of Pullman, Whitman Co WA today
in the yard of Kelly Cassidy.

And I guess fitting, 5 WILD TURKEYS were in my yard this past week....
