On November 21 a female SUMMER TANAGER was at South Beach in Newport. It did
not remain.

Quite a few RED PHALAROPES are still being seen along the coast. PALM
WARBLERS are now at several spots along the coast. Heavy loon migrations
continue, but the number of BROWN PELICANS are much reduced. At least 70
SANDHILL CRANES were seen November 24 migrating south over the Willamette
Valley. The next day 10 were over Mt. Pisgah near Eugene.

On November 22 a GYRFALCON was near the mouth of Elk Creek, south of Port
Orford. A ROSS'S GOOSE is being seen nearby. On November 24 a TREE SPARROW
and four SWAMP SPARROWS were at Flores Lake. Two LAPLAND LONGSPURS were
there November 21. A COMMON YELLOWTHROAT was at Coquille November 24 and a
BARROW'S GOLDENEYE was at Coos Bay November 26. A SWAMP SPARROW was in
Toledo November 24. ROCK SANDPIPERS continue to be seen at Depoe Bay and on
November 24 one was on Barview Jetty at Tillamook Bay. The two TROPICAL
KINGBIRDS continue to be seen along the road on the south side of the
Warrenton Sewage Ponds.

The BLACK PHOEBE and FERRUGINOUS HAWKS continue to be seen at Ridgefield
NWR. On November 24 a MOCKINGBIRD was reported on the refuge. Four CINNAMON
TEAL are still on the refuge and at least one is at the Fernhill Wetlands.
Two SWAMP SPARROWS are being seen at Fernhill and on November 21 a EURASIAN
GREEN-WINGED TEAL was there. An ASH-THROATED FLYCATCHER was at the Fernhill
Wetlands November 23, but did not remain.

The BLACK PHOEBE is still being seen at the barn at the junction of
Livermore and Smithfield Roads at Baskett Slough NWR. A GYRFALCON is now in
the Baskett Slough area but is quite elusive.

Large numbers of sparrows including seven WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS and at
least one SWAMP SPARROW are now at the EE Wilson SWA. A SWAMP SPARROW was
near the Fern Ridge Dam west of Eugene November 22. On November 25 a
HARRIS'S SPARROW was near the Eugene Airport.

A HARRIS'S SPARROW was at a Redmond feeder November 22. On November 26 a
GLAUCOUS-WINGED GULL and a LONG-EARED OWL were at the Redmond Sewage Ponds.
Two late SAGE THRASHERS are still in a Burns neighborhood. A GOSHAWK is

Thats it for this week.
