Tweets - ten of us met on an absolutely gorgeous, frosty morning at Marymoor
for a pre-feast walkabout. The sun was shining, and the only time we had a
problem with fog was when we got to the lake lookout. My idea of doing the
walk today, so that people who work could come too, was a success, with at
least 3 people who usually aren't able to come joining us. However, what I
didn't think of was that EVERYBODY was free to come. The place was jammed
with dog walkers and football games, etc.

We still managrd to see some things:

N. Shoveler One a the weir
Gn-winged Teal 7 reported from the RC ponds by Ollie
Sharp-shinned Hawk Juvenile S. of mansion
MOURNING DOVE Two in cottonwood at Interpretive Lot
R.-breasted Nuthatch One right at the start of the trip
BROWN CREEPER 1 or 2 in the big woods - great looks

We had some fabulous looks at FOX SPARROW, LINCOLN'S SPARROW, and
WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW, the latter two at both the compost piles and the Pea
Patch.

A bit of an abbreviated day, but still 45 species.
