0850-1050 hrs, Icicle Ridge Trail, about 1 mile south of
Leavenworth.
WHITE-HEADED WOODPECKERS & WHITE-BREASTED NUTHATCHES were all in the
same location as those in last year's Leavenworth CBC: on the bottom
edge of the open ridgetop burn, about an hour's hike from the parking
lot. The CLARK'S NUTCRACKERS were a new trail bird for me.
Leavenworth was cold and foggy, but the burn was warm and sunny. The
trail is free of any snow right now.
