As Rachel mentioned, we had permission to access the
boardwalk by the staff person on duty. Also other birders were using it, and
also had permission. I have birded the inside of the sewage area before but
never felt comfortable going out on the boardwalk until we were offered to do
it by the person on duty Saturday.
