Sooner than I ever would have thought three years ago when it showed up in
New York. We'll be keeping a close eye on crows in the greater Seattle
area, but I'd definitely like to hear reports from the rest of the state.

West Nile virus detected in Washington

The West Nile virus has been detected for the first time in Washington state, in a dead raven found in Pend Oreille County, the state Department of Health said today.
