Many of you will be interested to know that a biography of Hazel Wolf has
just been published by University of Washington Press. I bought my copy
yesterday at the Seattle Audubon office. Entitled "Hazel Wolf: Fighting
the Establishment," the author (Susan Starbuck) has fashioned a biography,
much of it in Hazel's own words, based on twenty years of taped
conversations with Hazel. It's a fascinating account of a fascinating and
truly extraordinary person.
