The place was jumping with birds this afternoon - in between rain
showers:

At the central pond:

a MINIMUM of 73 yellow-rumped warblers - counted as they flew over
towards the Center for Urban Horticulture
1 ruby-crowned kinglet
1 orange-crowned warbler
6 northern pintail
42 green-winged teal
2 lesser scaup
6 mallard
3 northern shovelors

elsewhere:

30+ yellow-rumped warblers (excludes those counted at the central pond)
3 northern flickers
1 northern harrier
1 peregrine falcon
1 long-billed dowitcher - flying west
1 green heron
320 ring-necked ducks
120+ american wigeon
4 ruddy ducks
3 white-crowned sparrows

Last evening flying around in the gloom were:

1 common snipe
7 wood ducks
