Hi, Dennis. Here in BC, there is a marked spike in jay fall migration every few
years involving both Steller's and Blues. This may be one of those years since
Blue Jay sightings west of the Rockies seem to be more prevalent than usual. As
for the direction part of the 3D's, it is pretty well assumed that the Blues
are inbound from the NE or E; not much has been opined from where the Steller's
arrive.
