I don't know about all of you, but I subscribe to alot of listservs, and
that means alot of e-mails.
But I have found a great remedy for that, and an easy way to organize all
your lists and read them in peace and harmony. The trick...ta da! Is the
great thing we call the Internet!

I set all my e-mail listservs to "no mail" and read all my messages on the
web.

organizes all the major lists into regions, then to a state or province, and
sometimes even into countys, such as in California. So I can see whats
happening all over the country, and the world if I want with just a click of
a mouse button, without the hassle of subscribing, or the crowded inbox in
my e-mail program.

But lists I want to actually post to, I just subscribe and set to No Mail,
however way you do it on that certain list
I believe Tweeters is, sent to the address listproc at u.washington.edu with
the command in the body SET TWEETERS NO MAIL

This way I can post to tweeters, but don't recieve any mail that is
addressed solely to tweeters. Great for those days when tweeters is hot and
30 e-mails go through on a single day

Looking on the net for Tweeters, its pretty simple

Just go to that, and you get about the latest 50-60 or so e-mails posted.
If you really want the information handy, its real easy to just copy the
message to a text program, and print it out.

Its easy, less e-mail clutter, and one of the great benefits is its, as far
as I can tell virus free! at least for e-mails sent to the list, since you
don't actually recieve the actual e-mails. And no more constantly hitting
the delete button!

California, and even Rhode Island! are all a mouse click away.

It works for me, may not work for some of you, but its a suggestion.
