on September 24, 2002 on Point Roberts, Whatcom County, Washington.
Areas visited included Lighthouse Marine Mark, the west end of Gulf

The brisk northwest winds hampered observations considerably by
making it hard to spot birds on the choppy waters and hard to hear
landbirds.
The most notable observation was a tight flock of 8 silent STELLER'S
JAYS, obviously migrating along the shoreline at Lighthouse Marine

One DOUGLAS SQUIRREL was also heard calling.
