In today's mail came the latest issue of WESTERN BIRDS. It had this
article: First record of a Greater Shearwater in Alaska. By John M.
Pearce. pages 121 to 122. Lists other records from the North Pacific.
Doesn't mention the British Columbia though! Also has an interesting
article about red-naped x red-breasted sapsucker hybrids including two
color photos.
