I have seen the large blackbird flocks around the traditional area along McManoman Rd between the RR Tracks and Town, on the hill, a few times over the last week or so. This morning there was about 1200 birds there and I saw two male tricolors. There could have been more but the flock kept jumping around and moving. I also thought I had seen a rusty blackbird in the flock but as I saw it the group jumped and I could not locate the bird again. I decided the go to McCain's check it out and return and look again. When I did return the flock was not there.
