Greetings All

Yesterday, Dennis Duffy and I birded from Pt No Pt to the Elwha River mouth.

Loons, grebes, seaducks seemed generally low in numbers. Gulls were present
in huge numbers however. The most interesting total was 770 THAYER'S GULLS at
Ediz Hook. This likely represents an undercount, as some effort was required
to sort out the numerous California Gulls. Are gull total for the day,
excluding Bony's, was around 10,000, including about 3000 Heermann's.

At Point No Point we had 9 PARASITIC JAEGERS in with the Bony's and Common
Terns (about 75 of latter, getting a tad late).

The only other birds of interest were an AMERICAN GOLDEN-PLOVER and a MARBLED
GODWIT at Blynn with about 250 BB Plovers.

Cheers
