Sunday morning I stopped by to look for Steve Mlodinow's Surf Scoter. There
was 5 Surf Scoter's there along with 1 Red-necked Grebe and an Eared Grebe.
I checked out the Western Grebe's hoping for a Clark's---all Western. The
pond on the north side of the road before you get to Vancouver Lake had 75+
dowitchers, mostly Long-billed, but also did hear at least one Short-billed.

Sat. a quick trip around Puget Island. Not much bird wise I think because
the lack of water. 1 Barn Swallow was the highlight.
