This evening I looked for the Black Phoebe that Wilson Cady had refound. It
was easy to spot about 150 feet before you get to the hike trail parking
area just beyond the photo blind. It was in a green bush between the road
and slough. It even gave 3 loud call notes. Wonder if this was the bird in
Wahkiakum County last winter. Or better yet maybe they are just expanding
their range.
