Hi, tweeters, Isn't there some law protecting migrating birds from being
poisoned. I mean doesn't Children's have to prove that no migrating birds
use this thicket and eat the berries for food in the winter.
It is close to the Urban Horticulture Center. To me it is a connected
green belt. Montlake Fill, Ajoua/Battell, Childrens, BurkeGillman Trail.
Does the UW spray Blackberries? what about the BurkeGillman Trail? does the
county just come out and spray in October and say "I'm not going to clean it
up until NEXT FALL, when I'll replant the blackberries with other plants".
Children's is saying they will leave the poisoned blackberries until NEXT
FALL when they will replant the hill side.

Please call Sarah Erickson 206 527 3881, she has something to do with
Community Relations. And tell them they cann't leave poisoned food out all
winter for the birds to eat.
