What are the latest dates anyone has observed band-tailed pigeons in the
Puget Sound region this time of year? I watched an adult and two immatures
roosting and investigating a nearby madrona tree this afternoon between noon
and 3pm. They have since left.

Also had two adult evening grosbeaks working the feeders with a large group
of purple finches today. Seems they all feed more voraciously when the
weather is cloudy as it was today.
