I've now been on two out-of-state trips where I kept records of bird
sightings on my Palm III, downloaded to Avisys upon my return. I find it a
wonderful way to record my sightings. In the past, recording the birds that
I've seen upon returning home from a trip was something of a chore. With the
Palm support, I just tapped them in at the end of each day, and after one
hot-sync after I returned home, I'm all done! Very cool. It's particularly
handy if you want to enter sightings from different locations, that's why I
mainly use it for out-of-state trips. Now if I could automatically generate
a report of sightings with the comments automatically added (Avisys users
will understand), it would be ideal for trip reports. As usual, no financial
interest, just a satisfied customer, etc., etc.
