Hello Dave and Tweeters,

First I must thank Dave to find this most intresting material there been
written by Don Roberson. One can anderstand now,how come our felmale
Great-tailed Grackle in Auburn was only slitly larger thaan the Brewers
standing side by side, and standing next to the Crow a bit smaler. We not
seeing Great-tailed Grackle to often, this is my second time. The male in
Stanwood was easy because this bird had a large fanned out tail, this as the
birdbook shows.Recently, the adult female in Auburn had a very long tailed
,but looking in all my photos taken ,it is straight. The Gracles have a
comlpety different stand as of the Brewers side by side.I must give Bob
Willleson a lot credit to identify this bird corectly. We both after looking
at this bird for some time, noticed the different tail and the size. But
looking all the futures over again ,even the small size,we agereed indeed
that this bird is a Adult female Great-tailed Grackle.Thank you Dave I
printed this Articles out for further reference.
