I saw a few Heermans today off Shilshole Bay, but there were about 50 on
Friday. This morning about 100 Bonapartes were in the same area. Fifty four
Mew Gulls on the cable on the west side of the locks spillway, all neatly
spaced and facing east.

Tweets,

Today about noon many Heermann's Gulls were moving south at the
Edmonds Marina fishing pier in loose flocks of ca. 10, apparently
mostly adults. I estimated about 100 in 20 minutes. Do they then cut
overland from near Olympia to the coast? Has anyone seen them over
that stretch of land?

Gene Hunn.
