This is the Vancouver Natural History Society's Bird Alert for Sunday,
October 27, evening update, sponsored in part by the Wild Birds Unlimited
stores in Vancouver and North Vancouver.

Sightings for Sunday, October 27:

Some of the highlights of the BIEAP survey of Burrard Inlet in the inner
harbour area were: 30 BRANT'S CORMORANTS, 18 MARBLED MURRLETES and 7
RHINOCEROUS AUKLETS.

One juvenile NORTHERN SHRIKE was at Beach Grove Lagoon in Tsawwassen.

A MARBLED GODWIT was at Colebrook Park at Mud Bay in Surrey.

Saturday, October 26:

The NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD was again seen on McDermott Road in Abbotsford.
Four SNOW BUNTINGS and a juvenile LAPLAND LONGSPUR were on the south jetty
at Iona Island.

Friday, October 25:

The NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD was reported from Abbotsford.
