Okay tweeters, I found the pictures of the grackle and I took some other
pictures off the net of a female brewer's and put them together and pointed
out some pointers that came to my attention first in seeing the picture.
They are just my opinions in what I see and what I think. Being down in
Florida a year ago, grackles are fresh in my mind of what they look like,
and seeing brewer's at my work all summer, they don't look like that one
"bird" taken at the mall. If anyone sees anything they want to add or
challenge, please do so. I'd like to hear what others have to say. I don't
believe it's a great tailed because of the eye color, the eye is too light
of a yellow compared to a dark yellow, and the tail and even the beak don't
match up at all. I find it weird though that even though I labled it as a
bronzed common grackle, if it were a true bronzed, then it's head would not
be that brown color but the iridescent color and it's body would have the
brown on it to a certain extent. I don't know!! :)
