Learn Your Loons

Here is your chance to discover the world of the loons the King of
Divers! This ancient bird is subject of legend and the source of the
most haunting call heard in the wild. Flock with us to the shoreline for
a close loon look...learn about life history, ecology, identification of
different species and plumage stages. Dress for the weather, bring
binoculars, a bird guide of your choice and lunch. Bring your loony
friends and family!

Instructor: David Drummond, Wildlife Biologist/Birding Specialist

Cost: $25 per person per class

Location: Birch Bay and Drayton Harbor -
meet at Birch Bay State Park waterfront

Schedule: Saturday - November 23, 9:00 am -1:00 pm
