Today I birded the Nisqually refuge and joined up with Jim Pruske about
midway through. Most of the birds were seen in the mud flats and beyond
from the observation tower and along the north dike during the incoming
tide.

Virginia Rail - 1 (along the Nisqually River side trail)
Purple Martin (NW corner)
Green Heron - 1 (NW corner)
Purple Finch - flock
